This panel discussion will range over the issues artists confront when they integrate their studio practice into a life that may include work obligations, the pull of close relationships, and the everyday distractions of Netflix, yard work and answering emails. We’ll discuss time management, studio set-ups, and maintaining supportive connections with art communities.
Michael Kowbuz is the co-founder of Cerulean Arts Gallery & Studio and the Director of Continuing Education at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
Nancy Bea Miller is a painter, photographer, and author. She currently teaches art at Montgomery County Community College and the Main Line Art Center.
Susan White lives in Philadelphia and currently teaches Non-Toxic Printmaking Methods in the Book Arts/Printmaking Department at The University of the Arts and in the Visual Studies Department at Drexel University where she teaches
Space/Time and Printmaking. Susan White has also served as the Assistant Director of The Print Center; a non-profit arts organization which focuses on printmaking and photography.
