New Classes and Workshops

I'm teaching in a number of different venues right now:

1) Watercolor Painting at Montgomery County Community College, main campus. The class is currently full with a waiting list but you never know! ART 222 at https://www.mc3.edu/academics/courses/1055-art

2) Etegami Workshop at Main Line Art Center. This should be really fun! Ink, watercolor and quotations. One day only, Saturday September 24, 1-4 pm. For more information and to register:  http://public.mainlineart.org/

3) Critique Group at Main Line Art Center. Starts next week: Tuesdays 6:00-9:00pm September 13 - November 15. http://public.mainlineart.org/public/AdultClasses.faces?rst=1 (note: someone renamed it "Critique Club" in the prospectus, which sounds a little silly, but no worries, it's still serious, yet supportive, group critique!)

4) Private one-on-one Instruction, ongoing in my Manayunk studio. My availability for this is extremely limited, and I'm already pretty booked up, but I have been considering hosting a group Life Class in my studio. If this is something you might be interested in shoot me an email ASAP and I'll put you on the list to be contacted if/when I do go ahead with it. Space will be limited and I'll go down the list on a first come - first served basis.

We Do What We Must

I'm grateful to be included in this very cool show exploring the current role of women in society, entitled We Do What We Must , opening tonight at Rodger LaPelle Galleries in Old City Philadelphia. When I look at the five pieces I have in it, one photograph and four paintings, every single one documents a collaboration with a different friend (or two!) from several different areas of my life.  Making it clear that connections and friendships are crucially important to me as I move through this world.

I was happy to be invited to participate in the Squirrel Gallery 2016 exhibition. It was a three day event, and I did not manage to get the information up in time on this blog. But many thanks, friends, for the very good turnout and sales!
